This Bar Trio makes a terrific introduction to the wide range of flavors in single-origin chocolate — especially for those new to craft chocolate. We use only cocoa beans and organic cane sugar to produce our chocolate; and our makers’ craftsmanship underscores surprising flavors in each batch of beans.

An array of tasting notes is expressed in this set. You’ll find familiar, classically chocolatey flavors —upgraded with creamy, nutty notes — in the Costa Rica bar. Our Zorzal Comunitario bar balances chocolate flavor with nuanced notes of cherries and tea. And as a bold finale, the Uganda bar yields bright, fruity notes. You’ve never had chocolate like this!

Ethical sourcing

Ethical Sourcing

Here at Dandelion, we not only want to work with producers who make good beans (which is hard enough on its own) but also people who share similar values around transparency, accountability, and are looking to maintain long term partnerships. We do our best to live up to the trust they put in us to represent them well not only in the chocolate we make from their beans but ensuring people know where these amazing beans have come from.

We visit our producers as often as possible to maintain our relationships and stay up to date on their operations. Our prices are not determined based on the commodity market but what the producers with whom we work believe is the appropriate price for their product. Often this ends up being several times the market price.
