This five-piece limited holiday collaboration, crafted by Thomas Haas Chocolates & Patisserie in Vancouver, B.C., pairs classic Black Forest cake flavors — sweet red cherries, rich chocolate sponge cake, and vanilla-scented whipped cream — with our single-origin dark chocolate. Thomas, born and raised in the heart of Germany’s Black Forest, creates his own luscious (kirsh-free) interpretation of the famous Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte; his multi-layered confections feature freshly picked organic cherries and light vanilla ganache, perfectly complemented by the subtly smoky dried-fruit notes of silky 70% Ransiki, Indonesia chocolate.

Following a long tenure working in some of the most well-respected kitchens in the world, Thomas and his wife Lisa opened their eponymous Vancouver store in 2004. Driven by a genuine passion for food and the people they serve, the two of them craft inventive confections and exquisite pastries.
