Petoskey, MI

Crow & Moss is a family-run, micro-batch, bean-to-bar chocolate company based in Petoskey, Michigan. Founded by professional baker and food enthusiast Mike Davies, the company began with a basement setup and a pink hairdryer, evolving into a 2,000-square-foot “chocolatery.” Mike crafts minimalist bars using just cocoa and sugar to highlight the bean’s natural complexity, alongside confections and baked-to-order pastries. Danielle Davies joined full-time in 2024, leading design and marketing, and serving as chief taste-tester. Their daughter Nola, born in 2023, is the company’s youngest (and sweetest) inspiration, bringing daily joy to this small but passionate family business.
