Our limited seasonal collaboration with Lulubee Artisanal Chocolates, in Lincoln, Nebraska, evokes pure holiday nostalgia. Inspired by afternoons baking gingerbread cookies with her family — flour in the air, spices warming the kitchen, and laughter all around — Lulubee founder Gaylene Steinbach crafts velvety Gingerbread Caramels which capture that magic in every bite. Fresh ginger, plus molasses, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and black pepper, infuse her dark, lush caramel with subtle spice. Gaylene layers the buttery caramel over a crisp cookie base, and finishes each Caramel with a shell of our 70% Kpalimé, Togo chocolate — rich with pronounced custard and honey notes. This five-piece set is festive comfort, reimagined.

Gaylene Steinbach, founder and chocolatier of Lulubee Artisanal Chocolates, discovered her passion for fine chocolate after receiving a box of hand-crafted bonbons over a decade ago. Inspired by childhood memories of her mother’s hand-dipped truffles, she launched Lulubee in 2013 and opened her Lincoln, Nebraska boutique in 2020. Guided by a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and flavor, Gaylene creates bonbons designed to offer moments of quiet indulgence.
